Where Roofing and Cladding Meet
Almost every failure point on a roof or facade occurs at a junction — where a roof meets a wall, where two cladding planes intersect, or where a penetration passes through the building envelope. Natural Metals fabricates these components in-house, to the exact dimensions of the project.
This matters for two reasons. First, a fabricated-to-suit detail simply performs better. Second, it matters visually: a custom-formed capping or flashing sits flush and true.
Box Gutters & Box Valleys
Box gutters and box valleys carry a disproportionate amount of a roof's total water load through a comparatively small, concealed channel, which makes correct fabrication critical. We form box gutters to calculated capacity for the specific roof area they serve.
Parapet Cappings & Fascia Systems
Parapet walls, common on contemporary flat and low-pitch roof designs, need a capping that is both weathertight and visually crisp along a long, highly visible run. We fabricate parapet cappings with correctly specified falls and drip edges.
Chimney, Skylight & Penetration Flashing
Every penetration through a metal roof or cladding system — chimneys, skylights, flues, vents and structural supports — is a potential water entry point if not correctly detailed. We fabricate purpose-formed flashing collars and saddle flashings for each penetration.
Feature Cladding Details & Custom Profiles
Beyond functional flashings, we also fabricate feature elements that architects specify to create a signature moment on a project — folded metal fins, feature soffit linings, custom corner profiles, and one-off decorative panels.
